Comedy Gold

Watched Eric & Ernie, a BBC drama from 2011 today. As the title suggests, at least to any Brit of my generation, it was about Morecombe & Wise, the funniest double act ever. And, amazingly, they really were friends in the deepest sense. The guys playing the titular characters were brilliant, as was true of the whole cast. At the end I was laughing and crying pretty much at the same time. Just lovely!
