Still Learning

I thought I knew a fair amount about the history of popular music, including jazz and the blues. Then three days ago I watched and listened to Sister Rosetta Tharpe for the first time. I'd vaguely heard of her but what a privilege it was to finally listen to someone this amazingly good.
