It's been more than two and a half years since we found ourselves here (back in September 2019, then accompanied by our niece, Zahira) and things have changed somewhat with altered circumstances for various family members, so we've needed to adjust the routines which we've generally forgotten. I tend to think of life here as being essentially static when, of course, there's no such thing even in the sleepiest of corners. It took me quite a while to remember how the shower worked, but happily it flowed eventually, which is all you need really. That and a bed and a hot cup of tea.
