The Way Ahead

It's that time of year, with regard to the Islamic calendar, when thoughts begin to run on the fasting to come. Ramadan starts at the end of June, and I'm feeling the usual mixture of anticipation and trepidation. The odd truth is that there is never anything at all 'usual' about the experience of fasting.
